MODEL RELEASE: I hereby give permission to Daphne's Equine Portraits to use my photos and likeness in all forms and media for advertising, portfolio, demo, trade, stock photography, editorial, altering without restrictions, and all other lawful purposes. I understand I am entitled to no compensation. I release the photographer of all forms of claims and liability related to my photo usage. I am over 18 years of age, and I fully understand the terms of this release. I also have permission from the stable to use the property for our photo session.
GROOMING: I agree to have my horse (s) completely groomed and show ready 10 minutes prior to the scheduled session time. Show ready means your horse should be bathed & dry the day of our session, lots of show sheen, bridal path clipped , etc. Bridal & Bit are cleaned and free from dust and dirt.
VIEWING YOUR IMAGES: You’ll meet with Daphne in 1-2 weeks after your session via Zoom to review your images and select your complimentary digital file. During your session, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase additional artwork to showcase your horse’s beauty in your home.
SAFETY: Daphne Treadway of Daphne's Equine Portraits will take very plausible action to ensure all session are undertaken with the utmost care and safety. By commissioning Daphne's Equine Portraits you accept all responsibility for any behavior of your horse which results in injury to any party or any damage to any location or venue. I understand that I am completely responsible for my own safety and the safety of others.
CONSENT: I agree that I will have consent from the stable owner for me to photograph on their property. If you are not the register owner of the horse, I agree that I have full consent for their horse to be photographed and the images to be published.
EQUINE WAIVER: The client is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of any group members or children that he or she brings with him or her while engaging in and all equine activities during the session. The photographer is not liable for any injury of horse handler, rider, student or child during the session time or while services are rendered. Client has read and understands and releases photographer from all related claims of equine activity and ordinary negligence in the course of photographers servcies. UNDER TENNESSEE LAW, [Tenn. Code Ann. § 44-20-101 (1994), UNDER TENNESSEE LAW, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES, PURSUANT TO TENNESSEE CODE ANNOTATED, TITLE 44, CHAPTER 20.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: All sessions will take place just inside the barn door or an indoor arena with a black background. We will be using the natural light. Due to photography equipment and lighting conditions, it is the photographers discretion to reschedule due to weather conditions. If that occurs you will be notified by email and given the opportunity to reschedule for the next date.
